Why Womenomics?
Did you know that by the time women reach 60-64 years of age, only 66% have a superannuation account and their average balance is $157,050? This data comes from the Australian Bureau of Statistics as at 2015-2016, and is eye opening.
Womenomics was founded in 2018 and is designed to offer as much educational information and support to women in medicine about personal finances. We need to change the conversation about finances and help women in medicine grow their own knowledge and understanding to make the best financial decisions they can throughout their lives.
